Kew Gardens

Situated in south west London, these lovely gardens provided a tranquil retreat when we visited in early June. Recently inscribed by UNESCO on the list of World Heritage Sites, the 300 acres which contain Kew Gardens contain over 30,000 different types of living plants, plus millions of preserved specimens, seeds and DNA samples.
