Sovereign Hill has over 60 buildings throughout the township.
Sovereign Hill has over 40 horses working in the township.
Sovereign Hill has 300 staff employed in the running of the businesses, marketing and administration, catering, entrance staff and other jobs.
More than 200 people also volunteer on a regular basis to provide colour of costume characters throughout the township.

Sovereign Hill is in Ballarat, which is about 90 minutes west of Melbourne.

The bakery is a place where you can go and buy delicious cakes and breads. The bakery is on the main street and one of the most used shops on main street. The candy store is a place where you can go and buy lollies. The candy there is candy they had in the oldendays, but not as expensive.
The leather shop is a place full of leather, where you can watch the man making leather belts.
